MV Monadhliath is the only wildlife watching, live-aboard vessel based in Stornoway and the North Minch. Fully certified with the Marine Coastguard Agency to carry passengers up to 60 miles offshore in complete safety, this means that we carry all the relevant equipment to stay safe at sea. We offer two, four and six day cruises around the Minch and the Outer Hebrides, running from April until October visiting places like the Shiant Isles and even out to the double UNESCO world heritage site of the St Kilda archipelago. Our cruises will give you the chance to take part in important scientific data-gathering whilst in search of some of the most special wildlife in British waters such as whales, dolphins, seabirds and even eagles. Experts in marine and land-based ecology, we have created a selection of tours to ensure that your holiday is one to remember.

MV Monadhliath is also available for private charter, filming or research cruising, with a crew experienced in visual marine surveys.
